Why are you looking for peace in the wrong place???
Well Hello to you too.
Let's take a trip down memory lane.
Remember SARS??? Remember The protest? Remember COVID-19? Now, it's the War.
Well, this is not a place to find peace exactly. The world Cannot give peace, why?
The world Doesn't Know the Master of Peace, it is not in its nature to Give Peace when it doesn't know what it is.
Jesus' told us that we are not of this world, and if we are not of this world, then we should keep our mind on things above, looking unto Jesus as the author and finisher of our faith.
Spend some time reading your bible, you will find out that the world thrives in chaos. During that period, it feels like a Trade Fair for sin. You find Immorality, Pride, Scorn, Fornication, Lust of the Eye, and more. All this leads to mass Chaos. Covetousness and Greed are not left behind.
Be careful Christian, We tend to be manning the stall selling Self-righteousness, Pride, Covetousness, Power, Fame, and Money.
Stop Justifying it, with the scriptures. Yes, the bible says he wants your soul to prosper, but the guideline says "seek ye first the kingdom of God."
That little sin that you are justifying now, will slam you down soon.
Remember, there is no peace in this world, except in Christ. Everything else you are chasing will only give you an appearance of peace, but never peace itself.

LESSONS FROM KING HEZEKIAH

'' And Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it: and Hezekiah went up unto the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD. Then the angel of the LORD went forth, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and fourscore and five thousand and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses'' Isaiah 37:14 & 36
'' A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger '' Proverb 15:1
Moral Lessons:
(1) King Hezekiah knew his weakness (little military strength). We should always consider our strength whether we are able to win the battle before us or not.
(2) He held a peace talk with the king of Assyria(2 Kings 18:14-16) but the king still proofed stubborn: We should learn to make peace with our enemies first.
(3) When the king of Assyria rose again; King Hezekiah held his peace: Sometimes, silence is the best answer.
(4) King Hezekiah went to the Lord in Prayer: Do we always tell God about our stubborn enemies?
(5) Hezekiah weapons were not carnal but God fought his battles for him: We (Children of God) can not win our battles through verbal exchange of words or other physical means save by God's help.
